Top Four New Years Resolutions For 2021
It is finally 2021!!!
After such a hard year behind us, I want to keep this blog entry quite light.
So today I decided to talk about New Years Resolutions...
I know... so original.
I’ve always made New Year's resolutions!
But have I kept them? Nope!
So this year I chose more realistic resolutions...
I want to read 5 to 8 books in 2021!
If you’ve been following my blog and Instagrams since I started it.
June 2020.
Then you’ll know I’ve been stuck on one book the entire year haha.
So for this year I finally want to finish Pride and Prejudice AND read 4-7 more books.
I have a little plan set out on what books I want to read. They are...
•Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
•Where the crawdads sing by Delia Owens.
•After Book Series by Anna Todd.
After his five books in the series itself that’ll be my goal reached haha.
Of course, if I read all that before the end of 2021 I’ll read more books.
Do you like reading books? What is your favourite genre?
Resolution zwei...
Another big thing I wanted to do this year was to be more creative.
I love painting, sewing and crocheting.
But being lazy I barely do any of them.
I started crocheting a bee in September still haven’t finished it haha.
I even got water paints but haven’t tried them yet haha.
So for 2021, I want to paint a few paintings both acrylic and water paints.
I want to crochet a few more things and do some cross-stitching and finally master my sewing machine.
And to spice it up maybe start knitting and see how that goes...
Maybe you should try and start a new hobby? What hobby would you start?
Resolution drei...
What are New Year resolutions without fitness plans haha.
This year I want to be more realistic and instead of saying the typical stuff like...
“Lose weight” “workout” “get toned”
I am just going to try to go on walks.
Not only is that more realistic, but it also pinpoints a specific action and walking is great for physical health as well as mental health.
Let’s go on walks together! And motivate each other!
Resolution Vier...
And last but not least... education resolutions.
Many of you might not know this but I’m learning German at University.
So I want to expand my German and hopefully,, by the end of 2021, I’ll be able to expand it to a B2.
As well as learning a language there are other aspects I would love to learn.
I’d love to spend extra time studying Fashion and Social Media.
Overall I want 2021 to be a very academic year haha.
So let’s learn something together!
Choose at least one thing that you want to educate yourself in and let’s do it!
Conclusion
This isn’t a crazy long list... it’s small and more realistic (at least I hope it is haha)
Don’t be too hard on yourself when trying to complete your resolutions.
At the end of the day, they are goals we plan for the whole year ahead of us not something to get done in day one.
And if you happen to not complete them at all by the end of the year... who cares there’s always next year.
Let me know what your resolutions are for this year!
Yours Truly, E
xxx
